Let us help you change your life The HIT Center program is a culmination of 30 years of work in biochemistry, exercise physiology, thermodynamics and other interrelated disciplines. What makes this program so special is the quality of information the HIT Center collects about your body, the guidance of university-degreed exercise physiologists as your trainers, and the state-of-the-art facility where you will be training. The specialized training techniques implemented in this program are proven and supported by decades of information which ensures you are in good care and that you will see results correctly. Whether you are an athlete, looking at getting better at church-league softball, or are wanting to shed a few pounds, you are in the best hands at The HIT Center.
Assessment
The HIT Center creates a weight loss prescription specifically for your body and its capabilities. The HIT Center uses the most sophisticated technology available to determine your body composition (fat versus lean body mass), cardiopulmonary fitness (VO2 Test), and resting metabolic rate (how many calories you burn per day). These tools help the HIT Center produce a metabolic profile that will be the basis for the construction of your tailored weightloss program.
Assessments Include:
An in depth consultation with you to understand your objectives
A BodPod test to accurately detect your body composition.
An RMR-Resting Metabolic Rate test to determine how many calories you burn each day at rest.
A VO2max test to determine your aerobic fitness capacity, lactate threshold, and unique heart rate training work zones.
The Training
After your assessment is complete, your Lighten-Up program is created and the HIT Center will begin your training. Within this program, training sessions are typically 1 hour in duration, prescribed for a 6 week period, and limited to 3 times per week to ensure optimal recovery time. This protocol can vary for each individual (due to physical needs and/or scheduling conflicts). Along with nutritional guidelines, the exercise prescription is designed to create a caloric deficit. This results in tilting your metabolic/thermodynamic equations to your advantage ensuring weight loss. Nutritional counseling, body composition tracking, and specialized training techniques are the keys to success for this program.
Post-Assessment
Post-Assessment serves as a great tool to help you understand the improvements achieved through your training. This evaluation gives you the opportunity to compare the results with the original assessment. Rather than just focusing on your weight as the standard for success you will also see the improvements in your body composition, cardiac fitness and your metabolism. The HIT Center will document your improvements, evaluate the overall increase in your health and weight loss goals, and help you understand in more depth (from a physiological stand point) what effected the changes. You will then be empowered with knowledge to continue forward with a healthy lifestyle.
